About • Eva Ghioni LMFT
Come join me on the adventure of your life! I feel very fortunate to be able to do work that I love, and through that work to be an integral part of assisting my clients on their journey’s toward healing, authenticity, living a wholehearted life, experiencing a deeper sense of connection to self and others, feeling and experiencing their joy, and creating the life of their hearts desires.
I offer therapy in a compassionate, non-judgmental environment that allows my clients to explore the things that scare them most. I believe that all parts of us are to be valued, including our shadow sides. I can help you identify when different aspects of yourself may or may not be working for you, when to utilize different parts, and when it is best for a part to take a seat quietly in the back.
I see my role as one of support to facilitate my clients journey’s of healing, assisting them in identifying and accessing all the strengths, gifts, and resources they already have within them (but may be unaware of). Through our work together, clients have the opportunity to move forward past obstacles towards their goals, and begin to create and experience the life of their hearts desires.
I will assist you in identifying and setting your own goals for therapy, in identifying obstacles and challenges to achieving those goals, in expanding your allowance for all the richness of life, and teach you the practices that will assist you in meeting those goals. I have over 23 years of experience in both the private practice and public mental health sectors as a marriage and family therapist, and a clinical supervisor to mental health professionals. I am a Certified Imago Therapist, and Certified Daring Way Facilitator. My experience includes the areas of individual growth, relationships, Imago Relationship Therapy, The Daring Way™, wholehearted living, vulnerability as the path to connection, shame resiliency, life transitions, grief, depression, anxiety, childhood abuse, codependency, anger, divorce, care-taker issues, parenting, and dream work.
I like spending my time doing the things that bring me the most joy and inner peace ~ spending time laughing, playing, connecting and enjoying the present moment with the love of my life, my family, friends, and pets; spending time alone to renew myself; being in nature; going on adventures; traveling; cooking; enjoying and savoring good food; gardening, listening to music; watching movies; reading, dancing; practicing gratitude, and always learning something new.
